"On the Way" with Desirrê
The Way is not made. You live it.
It was with this certainty that Desirrê set off alone from Valença do Minho towards Santiago and then Finisterre. In 10 days and 232 km, she lived a journey of overcoming, faith, pain, healing and reconnecting with herself.
At each stage, a discovery. With each challenge, a transformation. From the improvised slipper to the unexpected miracle, from the dish that tasted like victory to the silence that revealed what was essential, she found much more than breathtaking landscapes on the Camino. He found strength, lightness and pride.
In this interview, she shares with us the moments that marked her, the lessons she will take with her for life and the certainty that the Way doesn't end at km 0, it begins within us.

Between green trails, embracing silences and unlikely encounters, there is a journey that begins long before the first step and continues long after the last arrival.
Filipa shared her journey with us: made up of bubbles and beauty, resilience and faith, picnics in the middle of nature and stone walls that tell forgotten stories. It was she who filled this testimony with truth and emotion, and it's impossible not to feel the echo of her journey in every answer.

This path took shape between steps taken as a group, shared pain and silences that say it all.
It took courage to set off, resilience to keep going and an open heart to find meaning in every gesture, every hug and every challenge. It wasn't just a pilgrimage, it was an inner journey, where each stage brought discoveries and each arrival was also a fresh start.
