The Diary of a Magician.

In English, the book is called "The Pilgrimage". However, the author is Brazilian, so the title we present is the original. As the Anglo-Saxon name suggests, it's about a long walk, on our route of choice. The protagonist of this story is confused with the writer. After spending years and years training to be a master of a spiritual organization, Paul fails the last task. To redeem himself, his mentor asks him to walk 700 kilometers. In other words, the French Way of Saint James. But he's not alone, since he has Petrus by his side, someone whose mission is to help the members of this sect during the pilgrimage.

A journey of self-discovery that is well worth reading.

The Camino de Santiago is very much in the background. Its difficulties, wonders and - above all - the aura that everyone shares when talking about the journey of one of Jesus' disciples.

Memoirs of a pilgrim.

The book that all pilgrims need to read in order to be prepared for the Camino. It's half travel diary, part tips on how not to miss anything in your backpack and along the way. This adventure begins on the Portuguese Central Way, which the author seems to have done in a time well below the recommended time on our website. As well as the arrow speed of the pilgrim writer, here you'll read the experience and story of a man who was very prepared to walk to Santiago de Compostela, the encounters he had with other pilgrims and the adventures he had on more than five occasions.

And, finally, the representation of women on this list. It is, like "Memoirs of a Pilgrim", a diary and, at the same time, a text to help you prepare the way, what to expect and, above all, how to handle the situations you may encounter on the Way. We suggest reading about the arrival in Seville as a practical example of this very Portuguese ability.

"On the Way" with Catarina Varges

The Camino is more than a journey, it's an encounter with oneself. For Catarina Varges, walking to Santiago was a personal challenge and an invitation to chosen solitude, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Four days, hundreds of steps and a deep silence accompanied her along the Ecopista do Minho and the trails to Compostela. Between the vastness of nature and the absence of pilgrims, she found a rare space for reflection and to test her own limits. With each stage, he felt the weight of the walk and the lightness of discovery. In the end, it wasn't just the arrival in Santiago that marked the journey, but the certainty that the Way transformed more than her steps, it transformed the way she saw herself. If you have ever done the Camino de Santiago , you’ve probably noticed the small pebbles on the Camino, piled on top of the mile markers, crosses or other symbolic points along the route. "On the Way" with Marco Silva

There are paths that lead us to destinations and there are paths that transform us. For Marco Silva, Camino de Santiago It was more than a pilgrimage — it was a space to connect with nature, a shared challenge and an opportunity to slow down and experience each stage. Over the course of five days, alongside his wife and other pilgrims, he experienced moments of overcoming, unexpected discoveries and lessons that only the Camino can teach. Between the silence of the trails and the conviviality of sharing, he realized that the true essence of the Camino lies in the generosity of the encounters and the simplicity of being present.
